* Tour of The Keyes BungalowTour of The Keyes Bungalow

You can tour the home featured in American Bungalow on August 12, 2012, from 2-4 PM. Enjoy refreshments, and hear a lecture by canine expert Jane Brackman (aka Dr. Barkman) about how the Arts and Crafts movement aesthetic historically influenced the way we interact with companion dogs today. Jane will explain why Yorkies were considered dogs of the lower class, Labrador Retrievers were not recommended as pets, and why the U.S. dog population grew four times faster than the general population during the Arts and Crafts era.

Only 30 tickets are available, on a first-come first-served basis, at a cost of 30 for non-members and 25 for members of the Altadena Historical Society.
