I am having custom made inset cabinets made for my 1922 bungalow (PO took out originals), and I have to choose a white paint color (Kelly Moore) for the cabinet maker to paint them. I went to Kelly Moore today and they have about 100 different whites. I don't want it too stark because I have a Magic Chef 1000 that is creme colored, so I think it's best to stay with a warm white versus a cool white. Does anybody have white cabinets and if so, what color did you use? I have a hard enough time making up my mind to have to choose between so many colors of white! I already asked the cabinet maker, he mentioned Navajo White or Coffee something (can't remember the exact name). I want them white but not glaring white.
Thanks for your help.

Navaho White is a color commonly chosen for the cabinets - very nice, I hear. I painted mine before that color came out, and I used "Plantation White" (Behr) which I really like. It *looks* white, but in a soft, warm way.

I painted our custom kitchen cabinets Sherwin Williams "Antique White" and am well pleased. Particularly when I started restoration on a 1920s Hoosier cabinet. The antique white I used from SW matched Exactly the original white paint on the interior of the Hoosier. So I guess they named that color right.

we used a martha stewart color called "full sail" for our cabinets and woodwork. had it mixed into sherwin-williams paint, since martha's paint isn't as great as her colors.

I'm pleased with Benjamin Moore's dove white in my kitchen.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I talked with Jane Powell (Bungalow Kitchens) and she suggested Kirkland Acoustic from Kelly Moore. I bought a quart and painted some wood and I think it will work well with the cream color of the Magic Chef 1000. I have decided to go with that. Thank goodness THAT decision is over with! I appreciate all the suggestions, they all sound as if they would work well!
