Very nice! I would also like a guest room/study upstairs, with a master suite downstairs. We have a place at the river that might fit the bill...with a lot of changes. The lot is 100 feet wide, 300 feet deep, with a view to the rear (river). Very quiet, very dark at night. Deer galore! I am doing the design work, but I don't know how much is fantasy right now. We may also keep looking for a bungalow in town.

I recently worked with Home Patterns (www.homepatterns.com) and modified the "Rutledge" floorplan to better suit my needs. I increased the size of the house to 1550 sqft and had to add an attached garage (per city code). They also sell stock plans which may or may not need to be modified for the city that you live in. Mine needed some minor modifications before my city would approve them and I worked with a local drafter to accomplish this with minimal cost. Presently, I am one week away from moving in.

Best of luck to you in searching for house plans.

Interesting...a city that requires an attached garage!

Geezopete, what next? Require us all to drive an SUV?

Sorry, it has been a rough day!

Sounds like a good project. Bet your stress level is up...or at least anxiety!

Hope the move goes smoothly!

I'm a bit late to help in this posting, but if others are searching, then please check out our website - www.homepatterns.com
We deal only in bungalow and cottage plans in a variety of styles. I'd love to get some feedback from interested bungalow enthusiasts. Thanks, Brooks Ballard.

Hi,
I'm a little bit late to help in this posting but I recently found a great site for CAD experts in all areas, including bunglowes, and just wanted to mention it here.
The site is CAD Lore - CAD Community, CAD Projects and CAD Jobs Marketplace - www.cadlore.com

Hope that this info will help out.

REgards,

Mike
