Recently bought a bungalow and a previous owner drywalled over the fireplace. Yikes! Yes, hard to believe.
We've removed the drywall, and peeled off most of the adhesive that they used. Now we'd like to try to bring the
tiles back to life. Any suggestions? The adhesive and drywall has 'greyed' the tiles a little--maybe some
residue is remaining. Also, they drilled into the tiles to put in the drywall, so some tiles are chipped or have
holes. I can't seem to find an expert or restorer--I'm in the LA area. I'd love suggestions for what to do, or who
to contact for help.
Thanks!

Arturo Ferrel cleaned mine.
I don't have his number handy, but Mortarless Tile (on Fletcher) or Wells Tile (on Sunset) will have it. Good luck, Kevin |
