We are buying a 1910 home in the Pacific Northwest in great disrepair. It will be my first lathe n plaster remodel. I'm hoping there are some general wall expectations you can help me with.

1 - What is the average width of an interior wall (plaster + stud + plaster)?
2 - What is the average width of an exterior wall (plaster + stud + siding)?
3 - Were the studs used in early 20th also milled to 1.5x3.5?
4 - Is it advisable (or even possible) to mix gyp n stud new wall with lathe n plaster?
5 - Is there anything else that I can expect to be challenging or different about opening up, removing, or replacing 1910 walls?
