I have just found and joined this forum. I hope to learn a lot from and be an active participant in this forum!

I have a house on Long Island, NY that was built in 1926. The deed says "bungalow, cottage". Can anyone please identify if this is what it is? Also, what type? It's pretty hideous right now but we will be doing siding, new front window and pillars on it in the coming year and I hope to select colors that will bring out some character.
