 Style of home? My wife and I are in the process of purchasing this home. The listing lists the home as a Tudor style home. I don't agree with that though. Could someone tell me what style it is or if I am wrong and it is a Tudor? Thanks!

Re: Style of home? Try a Google image search on "Tudor style homes" and "Prairie style homes". I think your house looks more like the latter. Most illustrations of Tudor style homes show structures with pitched roofs; many have some sort of half-timbering as well.

Re: Style of home? I would have to agree with you. It looks more like a Prairie style home than a Tudor. The lack of a high pitched roof and exposed timbers make me believe that it isn't a Tudor. Several years ago the home was in the city's historical home tour and it was listed as a Tudor. Thanks for your reply.
