bathroom lighting
The plans for out bathroom project call for recessed lights in the middle of the room, in addition to lights around the medicine cabinets, and ceiling exhaust fans. I am thinking that these can lights are not very bungalow-ish...any comments or suggestions? Thanks!

Re: bathroom lighting
Can lights don't sound very bungalow to me. On the other hand, my bathroom (1925--see links to pics in my "what style is my bungalow" post) has only the wiring for an overhead light (which is what i still have). A short trip to the big box stores told me that most houses now have wiring that goes into the mirror or medicine cabinet over the sink.

Yeah, I agree that can lights are more modern. Stick with the fixture over the medicine cabinet to keep with your theme.
