I'm new to the forum and want to look at all of the lovely interior and exterior photos that people have posted, but nearly all of the images are broken! This goes for the avatars too. Am I missing a plug-in? Is it a site-wide glitch? Thanks!

The images in the posts are links to where the poster has uploaded their images to some external pictures hosting site such as flickr, Smugmug, etc. This site does not support uploads directly to the forum but supports links to other photo sites. Over the years the original poster may move or delete the image so the links in the posts no longer work.

Makes sense Diane, thanks! I guess I was confused because relatively recent images were also coming up broken. Too bad.

The forum still displays an "upload attachment" message, which is what our people are still trying to do.
