Post Arts & Crafts Billiard & Pool Tables
Dovetailing well with the craftsmanship of the era's houses, the early 20th century was, in my opinion, the peak for pool tables & their assorted fittings.

Unfortunately, most of these old tables were built for houses far larger than what most of us have. Here's a fantastic, but large table that Brunswick put out between 1906 & 1911 called the St. Bernard Mission: http://www.brunswickbilliards.com/our_r ... n6leg.html

Below is a catalog picture of Brunswick Balke Collender's "Cozy Home", a table designed, it would seem, for the bungalow. It's only 6' long and has 3 quarter sawn oak leaves (like the rest of the table) which can be added to make it a library table or, in a pinch, a dining table.

I acquired one of these in very original condition a few years back. It needs new bumpers and felt. The finish is what one hopes to find on other arts & crafts furniture. With work getting busy and no room in the workshop, I'm realizing that it's time that it find a new home.

Is anyone interested? Send me a message and I can get you more information.

For more information on antique Brunswick pool tables, see their site here: http://www.brunswickbilliards.com/our_r ... index.html

That's a beautiful piece Kevin. I hope you are able to find a good home for it. I'd love to be able to help but it is logistically impossible...

If I actually HAD a bungalow (I'm currently in the process of looking for one), I'd snatch that off of your hands as fast as a sea gull snatching food off the sand. While there aren't any pictures of the actual table, the drawing is enough for me to think about getting it. I'll certainly let my friend know about the table -- as she lives in an exceptionally large place and it's actually pretty bare. :)
