Been dreaming of this project for 4+ years!
Over the last few weekends I have been doing some siding replacement. Last weekend finally got around to scraping and repairing some of the damaged moulding on the porch columns. Then - First coat of exterior paint! ::
Picasa web album Had to return the trim color, was too yellow. But, trim and bargeboards will be a cream white (similar to Sherman Williams Muslin), sashes and accents will be Benajim Moore Country Redwood (very similar to existing red), and an accent of BM Tudor Brown (chocolate color) will be used on the porch "beams".
Let me know what you think. I have more pictures to add with the trim color. Hoping a 'sick day' will help facilitate getting the front done tomorrow before weekend rain sets in.
What color do you folks think the bead board under the roof overhang should be? How about beadboard porch ceiling?

(Then comes the porch rebuild - everything from the red part of the column down )
