Post Bungaloid Cottage
Hi all!

I'm in escrow on a cute little house nearish San Francisco, California. It was built in 1943 or 1947 depending on where you look, so it's not a "true" bungalow. However it seems to have a lot of bungalow features (to my untrained eye).

The dilemma I'm facing is whether it's a cottage or a bungalow? Which direction should I take it? I'm thankful for any help I can get!

I'd call it a bungalow, at least from the outside. The porch is really the strongest factor in labeling it. If the floor plan is pretty open, that would be another point, though with a small house what is open and what is not is up for interpretation.
